SIL CAR Hydro- Repellent
SIL CARis a compound specially formulated with nanoparticles for the treatment of absorbent materials (indoor and outdoor). The treatment gives a water-repellent effect only a few hours after the application. This is due to the nanotechnology particles of the product that allow it to penetrate up to depth very well. SIL CAR has been used for years with excellent results in construction for colourless, invisible and non-sticky filling treatments of building materials (such as: fresh concrete, plaster, asbestos cement, porous concrete, etc..). It's efficient for materials such as bricks, natural and artificial stones, natural pigment paints. Surfaces treated with SIL CAR appear slightly toned, non-sticky, permeable
to water vapor and to alkaline effect of quicklime.

How to use :
SIL CAR can be applied by spray, roller, brush and/or immersion. Apply always a big quantity of the product. In the case of spray application usually two sprays are enough, one after the other, without waiting until the first has dried. The best result is obtained on dried and absorbent surfaces, although it is also suitable for application on still fresh surfaces. The consumption of SIL CAR depends on the absorbing power of surfaces to be treated, however, varies from 100 to 900 g/m².

* Plaster: on average 700 g/m²
* Concrete: on average 400 g/m²
* Porous concrete: on average 900 g/m²
